		<description>&lt;p&gt;Social News is not a game.  And if the process becomes more important than the content, then we might as well go back to watching &quot;Big Media&quot; News.  I can&#039;t believe people are willing to corrupt Social News for the sake of some stat.  How important is it that you get a popular story?  I submit content that interests me, or I believe will interest others, or just spark discussion.  If I wanted to hit the front page a lot, I&#039;d make a gazillion friend requests and hang out at places like cracked.com and CollegeHumor.&lt;/p&gt;
