Interesting Brooklyn festival coming in September

Conflux
: the annual NYC festival for contemporary
psychogeography where international artists, technologists, urban
adventurers and the public put investigations of everyday city
life into practice on the streets.

Some of the events sound very…. er…. interesting. The examples below only touch in the surface.

We need a few folks to dress up in 19th century clothes and paper mache
boats about their waists and lead the Smelling Committee around our
mapped out territory in Williamsburg. We want to find someone who will

PAUSE: CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

PAUSE
is a series of public experiments in urban time, to take place during
Conflux 2006. On each day of the four-day festival, a group of 30+
participants will gather in public space to pause together. Please
