The Online Journalism Awards are out. A Columbia new media project won a student award.
But Digidave called this one months ago. I can’t seem to find the link, but I’m pretty sure I blogged about this project months ago when I was on my beat in Greenpoint.
Whether or not I actually blogged about this project before, I definitely used it as a source when I was on the beat and also as a resident of North Brooklyn.
When I find the time I plan to comb through the professional awards and see if there is anything extra-special mentionable.

On a side note: Something good happened today that will most likely change the frequency of my posts here. But I will probably be blogging actively on another site for a few months. I’ll spill the details when the details become detailable.
