Question to RSS Subscribers?!?!?!?

Anyone who subscribes to this blog should know I am a BIG believer in linking out. I consider it an act of journalism – “linking is an editorial service.”

But I do a crappy job of it in this blog because I do most of my linking at the following sites (no particular order)

  • Propeller
  • Digg
  • NewsTrust.net
  • Publish2
  • Delicious
  • Google Reader

Not a day goes by where I don’t share what I think is high quality content on one (if not many) of these sites.

I’m considering taking the RSS of my activity on these sites (starting with Google Reader which is the easiest place to share content) and rolling it into the RSS for Digidave.org.

What will this mean for you?

  • You’ll know what I’m reading.
  • My RSS feed will become much more active.

If you think it’ll be of service to you, I’ll gladly do it.
If you think I’ll clog your RSS feed and you’ll hate me for it, I won’t.

You can let me know either via comment below or by fill out this 2-second Google form.

  1. I won’t hate you, but I’m going to unsubscribe from your RSS feed. No offense!

I’ll stick with your blog posts in my inbox and Friendfeed.

Perhaps, there’s some way to consolidate all your online activity into one blog post for the RSS feed instead of by item.

  2. as i commented in your poll, i’d be happy to subscribe to your google shared items feed (i might already, i rarely have time to get to those). but i do really prefer the blog feed to be just the blog.
