A rough quote from my professor.
“I don’t care if you are fucking an elephant, just don’t cover the circus.”
I suppose this means a journalist can practice any religion as long as they don’t cover the religion beat.
Picking up where I left off yesterday , I wonder why there is an entire institution dedicated to training religious journalists? Does one’s religious background really change how you approach a story?
