Business As Usual on the Web

Because technology and business are so intertwined, I can’t help but come across a few business125093resized200 story ideas I would really love to do if someone would just pay me for doing them (pwetty pwease).

1. Craigslist Campaign Management
Ever search Craigslist and come across the same posting over and over again? I’m not just talking
about the sex section here, but all the sections.
Example: I HATE Pology Magazine (won’t even link to them), not just because of their content, but because they post in the writing gig section at least once a week (for over a year now). I imagine it takes a lot of effort to continually post up listings for some companies that do it daily. I wonder if it’s a common thing now to oursource your Craigslist campaings in some types of business’ (real estate agents and sex workers).

2. MySpace Marketing
Want to use social networking to advertise your business but don’t have the social skillz to make friends? Chill out dude, MySpace Man can handle it all …. man … dude, sesh. He’ll make you totally awesome friends so you can pitch them the goodies. Cowabunga!!!!!

3. Hirevue
The new breed of Interviews, somehow even worse than the old.

  1. I used Craigslist to find the guy who moved me into my new appartment and sure enough, after the move, he offered to pay me to post his listing on Craigslist on a daily basis (his normal girl was gone for the summer). He said he’d pay me something along the lines of $125 a week (wow) but the whole deal felt sketchy (eh) so instead I agreed to have him move me in for free in the fall in exchange for me putting up a few of his flyers around campus. Sweet deal.
