It seems just two posts ago I was writing about the Knight News Challenge.
Originally the challenge was just an outlet for me to think like an entrepreneurial journalist, with ideas like CopyCamp.Us and Spot Journalism. Now it will become more.
I have been informed that all three of the ideas I submitted have made it to the second round. I believe this is also the last round before winners are chosen and grants given.
I have two weeks to work on two of the ideas and three weeks to work on the last.
Luckily, because of my youthful age (25), I was able to sneak into the "young creators" category – where I hope the competition is not as rough.
I have not won a thing, nor am I guaranteed anything. I’m sure hundreds of ideas have made it to the second round. I’ll make sure to post any news as soon as I hear anything.
